I can remember the day Osi (Nwaneri) told me that he'd found someone on Craigslist to work with. I thought he was insane. But I've never been more grateful for that website because we met Carrie. Soft-spoken, with her guitar or ukulele, she drew us in with some songs she had written up to that point. A poet, she drew us in with her images. I was so excited because these were some of my first legitimate recording sessions. I knew I wanted to be a songwriter and this was the real deal.
Home was one of the first ones we did together.
